The scenery, friendly staff and loads of nice neighbors. La Veta has nice shops.

My husband and I visited and spent one night here May 31. I wish we could have stayed longer...very clean and quiet...many amenities . Rates are fantastic. One of the best we have visited.
Very nice small RV park in La Veta. The whole area is very scenic and has a lot to visit and explore. The park is within walking/biking distance to town. The sites are gravel and mostly right-angle back-ins, but there is plenty of maneuvering room. Depending on the site location, there are shade trees and river frontage. WIFI was excellent, and cable was available using a supplied box. The restrooms and laundry were clean and in good condition. There is a small lounge with books, and a free DVD library. There was a common fire pit that was in use every night for casual get-togethers. Deer would causally walk by in an open area behind our RV. This is a nice place in a beautiful location (7,000' elevation). Very nice management. Overall, our experience was great and would recommend it. Would return.
So glad we found this gem. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The sites are large and level. Wifi is fantastic. Bathrooms are large, clean and well maintained. Friendly, helpful hosts.
