Great campground!
Love, Love, Love this place! Easily accessible campground @ 10500 ft elevation. Great fishing and the 2016 season had an extremely friendly campground hostess! Awesome time!
One of two developed Forest Service Campgrounds located along Forest Road 422 near the village of Cuchara. Access via Co. Hwy 12 south of Cuchara. Spacious sites, well water, and vault restrooms. Fishing in nearby small lakes and running streams and access to the 23-mile Indian Creek Trail System.
Very beautiful location with plenty of nature to explore and wildlife to look at. There are beautiful trails both up and down the mountain. There are several secluded spots to pitch your tent or camper. Host was very nice.
Friendly host. Very clean. Great trails right from camp. Small and cozy.
