Very friendly atmosphere. Great food. Grow up in this area. Lots of great small-town restaurants.
Being one of the only restaurants actually in the tiny town of Cuchara, it's expected to at least be good - but it's great. Don't expect anything fancy though - it's mostly fried or bar food, however it's definitely worth while. Plus, the views on the patio can't be beat.
I would not go as far as to say the service was bad, but it certainly was not good by any means. The food is not worth the wait, and I don't think the food is all that amazing. I had the chicken and tasted a burger. neither were bad, but both not extremely good either. Pretty average food for the cook time. the outdoor seating is very nice though, and I enjoyed the fresh air. It seemed the outdoor seating got better service, so try to sit outside if you can.
Nice atmosphere. Great food. Friendly people. Reasonable prices. I really liked the fish and chips and the italian grinder sandwich.
Small town mountain charm. Friendly staff and rustic decor. Wood tables are beautiful. Hummus plate was yum. Enjoyed the ambiance and sweet sounds.
